Six concepts for the Minneapolis experimental brewery that amplify the brand's dark, bold, creativity-first identity — built from real product research, not templates.

Our Take

Modist Brewing has carved out a singular lane in Minneapolis craft beer — a brewery that treats every batch like an experiment and every label like a piece of art. Ghost Vision, Dreamyard, and Supra Deluxe aren't just beers, they're creative statements. The dark, industrial aesthetic and "Embracing Creativity & Experimentation" ethos give Modist a brand identity that feels more like a design studio than a taproom. But the current creative could lean even harder into the moody, cinematic territory that makes people feel like they're part of something. These concepts place Modist's lineup in dramatic, edgy, North Loop moments that make craft beer feel like the coolest thing in the room.
